owes its almost cult status on the island’s culinary map primarily to its founders and owners, Danica and Božo Bobić, their devoted family, and today to their daughter Marija, who not only proudly took over the culinary relay but she also raised the bar of quality and service and brought that millennial spirit of the new generations.
The owners of Lanterna acquired their knowledge in the best catering schools in Croatia, in Opatija, Dubrovnik and Zadar, and they nurtured their love for cuisine and catering, based on the island’s tradition of food preparation, from an early age.
ORGANIC PRODUCE FROM OUR GARDEN
All of the food served in Lanterna restaurant – vegetables, fruits, olive oil – is grown on the land of the Bobić family on Pašman island.
Fish, shellfish, tuna, octopus and seafood were caught in the Adriatic sea by local fisherman. Meat specialties made from poultry raised on a small estate of the Bobić family.
Of course, all the food is accompanied by homemade wine, liqueurs, brandies and real, homemade Dalmatian prosciutto.
The Bobić family is proud of their dishes prepared under the baking lid and steak tartare, which makes it not difficult for guests to make a trip to Pašman for lunch from surrounding cities of Zadar, Biograd, Pakoštane, Nin …
